How to Wash Curly Hair
Wet your hair thoroughly with lukewarm water. Emulsify a small amount of shampoo in your hands and massage it into the scalp with your fingertips, not your nails. Let the lather run through the lengths as you rinse rather than scrubbing them. Gently squeeze out water, apply conditioner from mid-lengths to ends and detangle with your fingers or a wide-tooth comb while it is in. Rinse, then apply your styler to wet hair.
