About Our Shaver Collection
Foil shavers use an oscillating cutter behind a perforated foil. Hair pokes through the holes and is cut flush with the skin, while the foil protects the skin from the blade. Single foil shavers are compact and precise for detail work and necklines. Double foil shavers cover more area at once, which makes them quicker for head shaves and blending skin fades.
Hypoallergenic titanium or gold titanium foils are common on professional models and help reduce irritation. Some shavers add UV-disinfecting caps or interchangeable batteries, and rotary shavers such as the Silver Bullet Whizz use a round head that follows the contours of the face and head.

How to Use a Foil Shaver
Start with clean, dry skin and hair that has been trimmed short with a clipper or trimmer, as foil shavers work best on stubble. Hold the skin taut with your free hand, rest the foil flat on the skin and move it in slow, gentle passes against the direction of growth. Let the shaver do the work; pressing harder can damage the foil and irritate skin. Clean the head after every use, and replace the foil and cutter when the shave starts to feel less close or begins to pull.
