Toner is the step between cleansing and moisturising that many people skip, and the one that often makes the rest of a routine work better. A good toner removes the last traces of cleanser and hard tap water, rebalances the skin and leaves it damp and ready for serum and moisturiser. About Face Toners
Older toners were often alcohol-heavy and astringent, made to strip oil and leave skin feeling tight. Most current formulas are gentler. They are water-based liquids or light emulsions that carry active ingredients such as salicylic acid (BHA), polyhydroxy acids (PHA), centella asiatica, natural moisturising factors or rose water, depending on what the toner is for. You apply them with a cotton pad or press them into the skin with your hands after cleansing.
Face mists sit alongside toners. They are sprayed rather than swiped, so they are quick to use at home, at work or on a long flight, and they are often designed to hydrate, refresh or target a concern such as oiliness or uneven tone. Some people use a mist instead of a toner; others use both.

How to Use a Face Toner
Cleanse your face and pat it dry. Pour a little toner onto a cotton pad and sweep it over the face and neck, avoiding the eye area, or pour a few drops into your palms and press it into the skin. Mists are sprayed from about 20cm away with eyes closed. While the skin is still slightly damp, apply serum and then moisturiser. Exfoliating BHA and PHA toners are best introduced slowly, and sunscreen during the day is essential when you use any exfoliating acid.

Do I really need a toner?

When do I use toner in my routine?

What is the difference between a toner and a face mist?

Should I use a cotton pad or my hands?

What is your returns policy for unopened items?
Unopened, unused items in original packaging can be returned within 30 days for a change of mind. Return postage and a restocking fee of $10 or 10% (whichever is less) apply.
What if my order arrives leaking or damaged?
