About Our Pomade Collection
Two things decide which pomade suits you: hold and finish. Hold runs from light, for soft and natural styles, through medium to firm and heavy, for thick hair and tall shapes. Finish runs from high shine to natural and fully matte. The base matters too, because it changes how the pomade feels, how long it lasts and how it rinses out.

Pomade by Type
Water-based pomade. The most popular style today. Layrite Original and Superhold, Suavecito Original Hold and Firme Hold, and Killer Groom Pomade Original all give a clean shine and rinse out with water and shampoo.
Oil-based pomade. Classics like Murrays Original and Suavecito Oil-Based Pomade stay workable all day, so you can restyle with a comb. They give more shine and take more washing to remove.

Hair Pomade Buying Guide

Think about wash-out. If you style daily and want an easy rinse, choose water-based. If you like to restyle through the day and do not mind a double shampoo, oil-based gives a traditional result.
Apply it right. Start with a fingertip amount, warm it between your palms, and work it through from the back to the front. Damp hair gives a softer, glossier finish; dry hair gives more hold and texture.

Can I pay with Afterpay or Zip?

Can I return a pomade I have opened?
No. For hygiene reasons, opened or used products cannot be returned unless they are faulty.
What is your returns policy for unopened pomade?
Unopened, unused items in original packaging can be returned within 30 days for a change of mind. Return postage and a restocking fee of $10 or 10% (whichever is less) apply.
What if my order arrives damaged?
Email care@zilion.co.nz within 5 days of delivery with your order number and photos, and we will arrange a replacement or refund.
Do you deliver to PO Boxes or overseas?
No. Our couriers do not deliver cosmetics to PO Boxes, and we ship within New Zealand only.
